Plaintiff's Statement of Claim
for Divorce.
On May 10, 2018, I, Stokinov Oleksandr Mykolaiovych (hereinafter referred to as the "Plaintiff"), and Stokinova Tetiana Mykolaivna (hereinafter referred to as the "Defendant"), entered into a marriage that was registered in the Registration Department of Civil Status Acts of the Kakhovka District Justice Department, registration entry No. 78 dated May 10, 2018.
We have a common daughter, Stokinova Maria Oleksandrivna, born on December 05, 2022.
Over the past two years, our family life has gradually deteriorated, ultimately leading to the actual cessation of our marital relationship. Each of us has diametrically opposite views on marriage and family life. Lately, the age difference between me and my wife, which is almost 22 years, has become increasingly evident.
Recently, our differing views on life, child-rearing methods, and principles of communication with the people around us have been a cause of constant arguments. Our daughter unintentionally becomes a witness to our quarrels, which in turn seriously affects her mental state and causes suffering for both her and me.
All these quarrels have led to us living separately since August 2023: I reside in Kyiv, and my wife resides in Kakhovka, Kherson Region. We maintain separate households and hardly communicate with each other.
After we began to live separately, we both found peace in our souls. We realized that we are different people and should live separately.
At this moment, we no longer maintain a common household, and, in my firm belief, there is no further purpose in sustaining our marital relationship.
In connection with the aforementioned considerations, based on Part 1 of Article 110, Articles 112 of the Family Code of Ukraine, I have decided to apply to the court with a claim for divorce.
There are no property disputes between us.
This is my first divorce.
We have agreed that our daughter will reside with the Defendant after the divorce.
A marriage certificate is held by the Defendant and will be provided to the court during the proceedings.
Based on the above, in accordance with Part 2 of Article 104, Articles 105, 110, and 112 of the Family Code of Ukraine,
I kindly request:
1. To issue a decision on the dissolution of the marriage between Stokinov Oleksandr Mykolaiovych and Stokinova Tetiana Mykolaivna, which was registered in the Registration Department of Civil Status Acts of the Kakhovka District Justice Department, registration entry No. 78 dated May 10, 2018.
